We're excited to announce the arrival of our new bassist, Michael Hansen, a.k.a. Mikex!
Mikex brings a wealth of studio and live experience, most notably as a guitarist of Selfmachine. He has toured around Europe and shared stages with bands like The Agonist, Powerwolf, Opeth, Katatonia, Architects, Entombed, Threat Signal, and many more.
A personal message from Mikex:
"I'm very happy that I'm joining the 'Vessel' that is Ascend the Hollow! After the engine of Selfmachine went down, I took a little break. I played with other musicians for a while, but I quickly understood I needed a new, dedicated group of people. My friend Steven (a.k.a. Stvn, ATH's drummer) introduced me to the band, and immediately I was hooked. I enjoyed the audition process, and I can't wait to create new music and hit the stage with these guys. See you on tour!"
